Overview
Many customers stroll down the wine aisle at the grocery or liquor store and are met with a wall of anxiety due to the overwhelmingly large selection and choices. As such, many people do not choose wines that they will enjoy the most or will pair the best with their meal or celebration. To address this learning gap, the “Let's Wine and Dine” learning experience takes customers through the main types of wines, their characteristics, and what pairs well with each of them so that they can make a more informed choice in the wine aisle the next time.

Process
This was a concept project idea I came up with from my own personal experience. When I first became interested in wine, I was the intended audience of this learning experience, unknowledgeable about wine and not knowing what I should purchase. An informational course like this would have greatly assisted me jumping into the world of wine and given me a base set of knowledge to build on. Therefore, I wrote up a script-based storyboard based on my own knowledge (now, that I have done a lot of research on my own) and some additional research.

I chose to make a script-based storyboard, because of the higher content of information, and I wanted to ensure that all information was included and accurate so as to not mislead future wine connoisseurs. I added some design notes in the script for myself, but planned on a more agile approach for the design, working on some of the graphic elements during the main build.
With a completed scripted storyboard design, I began to build the learning experience in Articulate Rise. While in Rise, I made several edits to the overall layouts and structures to emphasize the ease of use and overall flow of the learning. I wanted to ensure the training provided a lot of in depth information, but was still engaging enough for learners to stay tuned-in and not be overcome with the same overwhelming sense from being in that wine aisle.

Final Product
I used a lot of the possible interactions within Articulate Rise, such as multiple response questions, flashcards, tab interactions, accordions, and more.
